Cousin visit from Seattle/Grandma's Birthday!

Aunt Kim, cousin Bella and Grandma Kalub came to our house for a fun visit this week! It was Grandma's birthday on March 30th so it was fun for her to celebrate with both Granddaughters.
The week was filled with the beach, shopping and Disneyland! Bella and Madison had a blast together, it was so fun to see them laugh and giggle. They are about 2 weeks apart in age so they could almost pull off being twins

Legoland

We had a spontaneous trip to Legoland last Saturday, the weather was so beautiful that we had to get out and have some fun! I always wanted to try out Legoland so finally we did it :) Madison likes her legos at home, but I still wasn't sure how interested she would be with looking at Legos ALL day.  I know that boys would LOVE this place even more! We were happy to find out Legoland is geared for toddlers or younger kids which made it fun. Also, it wasn't crowded at all :)

Madison wasn't too excited about Legoland at first but then warmed up to it and let go of my pant leg after she realized the dinosaurs were not real.

Our first stop, boat ride down babbling brook or storybrook river

We had to cool off in the water fountains

Trying not to get too wet but ended up getting soaked

It felt like everything was made out of Legos!

Belated Valentines Post

Our Valentines Day was really fun and I wanted to post about it earlier and I'm not sure why I am just now getting around to it!

We had a family Valentines dinner on the 14th but Sean and I went on our date on Saturday night to Javier's Restaurant in Irvine which was WONDERFUL!!

Sean bought me beautiful flowers for the table which I loved and they lasted FOREVER!

Sean then prepared a wonderful Lobster dinner for us! He butterflied the lobster, mixed butter with this great bread crumb seasoning topping and then broiled it. We have never attempted to make it at home before but it turned out really well.

Madison and I made a red velvet cake on Valentines day that turned out yummy! It was a long process and very messy but we managed to keep the red food coloring in the kitchen and not all over the couches and clothes! Putting on the sprinkles and licking the frosting was her favorite part!

Madison enjoying her Vday card and little pink treats!

She likes to double up on her eating utensils. I know messy kid faces are not fun to look at if they are not of your own children so I won't post anymore!

Daddy and Madison enjoying the park day!

I love this photo of her!
