Birds and Leaves

Madison is almost 14 months now and has turned over a new "leaf!" She literally loves leaves. We went to Balboa Park this weekend and let her walk wherever she wanted and what she wanted was leaves. She liked chewing on the stems of the leaves and rubbing the leaf on her cheek, the crinkling sound they make and the colors on each one was rather attractive to her. Sean and I enjoyed our coffee on the patio by a huge fountain in the park. It was such nice weather!

Summer in November

Today was a super hot day for November, and with no air conditioning and no insulation and massive flies in the house..Madison and I decided to take a trip to the beach. She has been sick and cranky earlier this week and after I locked myself out of the house this morning with her napping inside... I decided..yes, a trip to the beach for a little fun works for me! Thank you to Sean who drove all the way from Carlsbad to rescue us!

She loves playing with her new sand toys she got for her birthday.
