Costa Rica Honeymoon

After 2 missed flights and a crazy cab ride through the jungle we finally make it to Costa Rica! We stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel in Santa Barbara after the wedding and ended up missing the flight to LAX which was headed to Miami for a day then onto Costa Rica. Instead we flew out of LAX a little later that day to get a red eye to Miami then to Costa Rica in the morning to resume our original travel plans...but we missed our little plane in San Jose Costa Rica and had to wait 3 hours for the next one but we made it and it was a great trip, worth all the travel hicups!

Here we are enjoying a nice lunch in Costa Rica near the Manuel Antonio Beaches.

Costa Rica Honeymoon!!!!

Sean surprised me with an amazing trip to Costa Rica for our honeymoon! I had no idea and it was so beautiful!! Here we are at our hotel in front of one of the infinity pools that over looks the ocean and beautiful rain forests. It was so green and lush, very pretty.
Here we are at Manuel Antonio beach in Costa Rica. The beach was so quiet and relaxing. We basically had the beaches all to ourselves as well as the rather large lizards we encountered. Another fun thing about Costa Rica is the Holler Monkeys, they have white faces and are really cute.

We had the chance to take a small plane over to Arenal, a volvano in Costa Rica where we got a chance to experience Hot Springs and Zip line!
The hot springs were amazing! The resort had 6 different hot springs and pools all with different water temperature so we could experience really hot water or just hang out in a semi warm pool.

One night we arrived back at our hotel after dinner and soon learned there was a rather loud buzzing noise in the room. We couldn't figure out where it was coming from or what it was but all the sudden a large bug emerged from the bathroom the size of a small bird (so Sean says). My husband, the brave, manly guy that he (normally) then proceeded to squeal and scream his way under the covers leaving his poor wife, me, to kill the large creature. It took quite a few hits on my part to kill the sucker but it finally died a poor death. There was no way I was going to sleep with that thing alive in the room....no way. Sean of course will tell this story quite differently.
